The Winnie-the-Pooh stories are set in Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, England. The timberland is a huge region of serene open heathland on the most elevated sandy edges of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty arranged 30 miles (50 km) south of London. In 1925 Milne, a Londoner, purchased a nation home a mile toward the north of the woods at Cotchford Farm, close Hartfield. As per Christopher Milne, while his dad kept on living in London “…the four of us – he, his significant other, his child and his child’s caretaker – would heap into an extensive blue, escort driven Fiat and travel down each Saturday morning and back again every Monday evening. Furthermore, we would spend an entire eminent month there in the spring and two months in the summer.
