ROCKSTUD X Sneaker - A collection promising to create a new trend

Exclusive sneaker collectors have the opportunity to talk about a new collaboration between fashion giants. This time, Italian couture king Valentino will shake hands with London-based personality designer Craig Green for the first time. An unexpected fusion of two opposing spirits: regal classic and dusty modern. This collection is named ROCKSTUD X Sneaker.

The collaboration between Valentino and Craig Green celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Valentino Garavani accessory line “Rockstud”. This is a product line that has become a contemporary icon for the fashion house.

Since 2010, from heels to sneakers and even purses and necklaces, Rockstud (studs) have appeared on most of Valentino’s creations. The combination of elegant classical design language with an aggressive decoration such as rivets creates an interesting and sexy visual impression.

For the ROCKSTUD X Sneaker collection, rivet detailing has been raised to a new level. No longer merely decorative details, they are developed to become an actual part of the product. That is the creative highlight that Craig has brought.

The ROCKSTUD X sneakers have a rubber sole shaped like two rows of studs. Unique but solid. To neutralize the thorny and aggressive of the sole, the upper of the shoe is made of mesh fabric. Strap slanted and hemmed with rubber embossed Craig Green X Valentino Garavani.

The ROCKSTUD X collection will be available in black, gray, khaki or white. This shoe draws heavily from Valentino’s creative heritage, but at the same time captures the quintessence of Craig Green with a minimalist technical design.

At first glance, the shoes look a bit heavy. Maybe it’s not the best choice for picnics or climbing. However, you probably won’t use them for those purposes. After all, these are still luxury Valentino sneakers for $1295.
