Autism I see your true colors that why i love you shirt
I remember the day I found out my son had autism. I went home that night and I laid in my bed , crying with a 1,000 thoughts racing through my head. “Will he live a normal life ? , Will get married , have children of his own? “ And mostly “ Who will take care of him once I’m gone?” But now I have my answers , and even though society may look at him a little different I never will.

I will always teach him that we don’t have to fit in , in this world to make a difference . But to shine above it and make a way for those who can not or may not see the bigger picture. He has showed me that we don’t have to be perfect , and that the pieces to life may not fall how we intended them to. Autism I see your true colors that why i love you. But they will eventually fit creating happiness no matter what curve we get hit with. Autism isn’t so scary anymore when I hear it or think about it . It’s more like a adventure. And I will teach him along this adventure we call life , that the puzzle pieces don’t have to fit because the mess is much more fun . I want him to know he is not alone and through this battle mommy will fight this fight with you . Tomorrow we may fall but I promise we will get up and try again. Because when I look at Adrian , his true colors shine so bright , and beautiful, and that’s why I love him ! So next time you hear someone say “oh they don’t look like they have autism “ think about what your saying , because honestly how does autism look? or the next time you see a child having a melt down don’t be so quick to say “oh they need to discipline their child better “ because you say what you would do in the situation, but you really don’t know what you would do til your in their shoes , watching your child have a hard time to fit in or feel normal in a setting that may be so beyond normal to you . Raise awareness for Autism.
